It started with an idea

There’s got to be a better way of packing eggs – safer and much easier to handle.

The notion that conventional egg cartons were by no means state of the art in terms of stability and stackability kept bothering the ingenious tinkerer Hartwig Chamier von Gliszczynski. In the end he came up with an extremely solid eggbox made of corrugated cardboard which combined superior stacking properties with yet another decisive advantage: plenty of space for branding and advertising purposes! Since the patented eggbox is completely flat all around, egg producers can – for the first time in history – print their message in clear offset colours on the complete surface. Even on the inside.

Eye-catching by natur

If your products are as like as two peas in a pod, you just need something that stands out from the competition!

Good thing you can take advantage of the innovative eggbox! Since you can print on its entire surface, it practically bathes the shelf in colour, thus drawing consumer attention like no other conventional egg carton. Unlike a conventional pulp-mould carton, eggbox features an unruffled texture inside and out. Lots of space to print additional information and secure a prominent brand appearance!

Conceived by man, made for machines

As you may have guessed, eggbox was developed and tested in close cooperation with leading machine manufacturers.

It soon became evident that corrugated cardboard is ideal for fully automatic processing systems and shows optimal properties at high speed – no matter which sorting plant you’ve got.
